Al Ansari Exchange signs an agreement with Etisalat to facilitate bill payments

25 Jul 2012

Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE’s largest money exchange network that provides worldwide remittance and foreign exchange services, has recently signed an agreement with Etisalat, as part of the former’s expansion of its payment service offering for telecoms and other utility customers.

Any of the more than 110 Al Ansari Exchange branches across the UAE now accept payments for Etisalat customers’ bills for all Etisalat services, including fixed line, mobile, Internet and broadband services, as well as bills for eVision cable, and elife with no extra charge. This is in addition to Etisalat Mobile Top-Up service available at Al Ansari Exchange branches.

Rashed Ali Al Ansari, General Manager, Al Ansari Exchange, said, “Telecoms service is an essential part of any business or individual’s daily needs in the UAE. Following this agreement with Etisalat we will be contributing to making it extremely convenient for Etisalat customers to settle their bills in any of our branches spread across the country. As a customer-centric company, we have always been focused on expanding the scope and quality of our services to ensure maximum benefit to our growing customer base in the country, especially since our service offerings are focused on making each transaction smooth and easy for our customers, resulting in significant savings in time and effort.”

Ahmed Al Awadi, CFO, Etisalat, said: “Etisalat remains committed to offering the highest standard of services to its customers, and facilitating easy and convenient bill payment is very much a part of this effort. Our agreement with Al Ansari Exchange will significantly benefit our customers in the UAE given the country-wide presence of their branches.”

Al Ansari Exchange continues to expand its total payment solutions offerings to include bills for utilities such as FEWA, SEWA and ADDC. It also facilitates payments for credit cards issued by more than 22 major banks and bill payments for other telecom companies operating in the UAE.
