Ajman Free Zone and Al Ansari Exchange Tie Up to Facilitate the Payment of Company Dues and Fees

13 Sep 2020

Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Ansari Exchange, the leading UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, to facilitate the payment of any AFZ-registered company, allowing them to pay their fees at any Al Ansari Exchange branch across the UAE.

Eng. Ali Abdulla Bin Towaih Al Suwaidi, the Director General of AFZ, lauded the strategic partnership, pointing out that the move is a part of their continuing commitment to provide AFZ-registered companies with convenient solutions.

“This strategic partnership is a testament to our commitment to provide our business partners and investors with the best services through essential facilities and incentives that would enhance the business environment. This includes facilitating fee payment through various payment channels which will help them save time and effort. This step is part of our continuous efforts aimed at achieving our vision of stimulating economic growth in Ajman and facilitating doing business to support the ambitious aspirations of investors,” Al Suwaidi added.

Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO, Al Ansari Exchange, said, “We are pleased to partner-up with AFZ and help their registered companies by providing them with an easy and convenient way to pay their fees and benefit from our flexible and extended working hours. With our premium services, wide branch network across the UAE, and 50-year pedigree in the industry, we continue serving our customers to meet their expectations seamlessly and efficiently. This partnership demonstrates our ongoing commitment to promote public-private partnerships, which plays a key role in achieving sustainable development and enhancing Al Ansari Exchange customers’ experience.”

First established in 1988, the Ajman Free Zone offers offshore company setup and operation to investors. The free zone has boosted industrial activities in the Emirate of Ajman, resulting in thousands of companies presently being housed in the free zone. AFZ’s strategic location at the doorway to the Arabian Gulf means easy access to both western and eastern markets. Ajman is easily accessible from two international airports and four seaports. The international Dubai/Sharjah airports are within 30 minutes’ drive from AFZ. Ajman Free Zone is located next to Ajman’s Port, which serves over 1000 ships every year. Highways connect AFZ to other emirates. Sharjah is adjacent to Ajman and Dubai is only 12 km away.
