11 Oct 2017

Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, recently entered into an agreement with the British Council, the UK’s international organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations, to facilitate a faster, easier, and more convenient payment option for all test takers of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in the UAE.

Under the terms of the agreement, IELTS takers can go to any of Al Ansari Exchange’s network of more than 170 branches across the UAE to settle the test fee for the world’s most popular English language test. Rashed Ali Al Ansari, General Manager, Al Ansari Exchange, and Nicholas David Godfrey, Country Examinations Manager, British Council, inked the agreement in a ceremony witnessed by high-ranking management and officials from both sides.

Rashed Ali Al Ansari, General Manager, Al Ansari Exchange said: “Through our strategic partnership with the British Council, all IELTS takers in the UAE can visit any Al Ansari Exchange branch nearest to them and pay the test fees easily and comfortably with our highly professional staff in the most expedient manner. This latest collaboration is another addition to our growing portfolio of renowned partners from leading institutions that trust our brand to provide them with secure and convenient cash payment solutions.”

For his part, Nicholas David Godfrey, Country Examinations Manager, British Council said: “I am delighted with the collaboration between the British Council and Al Ansari Exchange. IELTS offers young people in the UAE numerous education and career opportunities in the public and private sector, both locally and around the world.
