Al Ansari Exchange supports UAE Water Aid campaign with AED 1 million donation

In line with the leadership’s agenda to promote charitable and humanitarian works, Al Ansari Exchange has expressed its strong support to the ‘UAE Water Aid’ initiative with its recent donation of AED 1 million. The initiative, which was recently launched by His Highness (H.H) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, aims to provide clean drinking water for 5 million people around the world. The move reflects the company’s commitment to the values and principles of the Leadership of UAE by actively engaging in philanthropic activities.
Mohammad Ali Al Ansari, Chairman and Managing Director, Al Ansari Exchange, said: “Supporting the ‘UAE Water Aid’ campaign is a national and humanitarian duty. Our participation in this campaign stems from Al Ansari Exchange’s commitment to contribute effectively to UAE leadership’s efforts to make the country a leader in global humanitarian philanthropy. This is in line with provident leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”
The campaign will start on the first day of Ramadan in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent Society and a number of charities and humanitarian organizations in the country. Various relevant important institutions, the private sector, and media groups will also actively participate in the government-led initiative. The campaign aims to provide clean drinking water for 5 million people around the world through digging wells and providing water pumps in areas in need of water purification equipment.
