Al Ansari Exchange donates AED 100,000 to Rashid Centre for the Disabled

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company recently donated AED 100,000 to the Rashid Centre for the Disabled. The move serves as a key initiative to support ongoing efforts to promote the quality of the facilities, services, training and educational programs being offered at the Centre to develop the capabilities and skills of children with special needs.

Rashid Ali Al Ansari, General Manager of Al Ansari Exchange, emphasized the importance of joining hands to offer utmost support for the training and rehabilitation of children with special needs who represent an integral part of the Emirati community. He further pointed out that the UAE has always given earnest attention towards enabling this segment to play an effective and constructive role in society.

Mr. Al Ansari further added that developing the capabilities, potential and talents of children with special needs serve as a national and humanitarian responsibility which requires further collaboration between the public and private sectors. He commended the pivotal role of the Rashid Centre for the Disabled in providing best-in-class services, treatments and training to 300 students.

Mr. Al Ansari concluded: “Charity and humanitarian work are among our top strategic priorities and part of our strong commitment to social responsibility. Through this initiative, we look forward to making a positive impact in supporting the vision and message of the Rashid Centre for Disabled as it continues to pursue excellence and leadership in enabling children with special needs and empowering them to overcome their disabilities and make meaningful contributions to society at all levels.”
