08 Apr 2026
Al Ansari Holding, the parent company of Al Ansari Financial Services and Al Ansari Exchange, has announced a contribution of AED 1 million in support of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” initiative. The initiative was launched by the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The initiative aims to reinforce the concept of sustainable endowment by establishing the UAE’s first endowment dedicated to supporting orphans. It also represents a strong model of national collaboration, encouraging individuals and institutions to contribute to this humanitarian cause, in line with the “Year of Family”.
The initiative aligns with the objectives of the “Year of Family 2026”, supporting efforts that invest in people, strengthen social cohesion, and further embed the culture of endowment as a key pillar of sustainable development. This contribution also coincides with the 60th anniversary of Al Ansari Exchange, reaffirming the Group’s long-standing commitment to supporting impactful and sustainable community initiatives, particularly those focused on the care and empowerment of orphans.
Commenting on the contribution, Mohammad A. Al Ansari, Chairman of Al Ansari Holding, said: “We are proud to support the ‘Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans’ initiative, driven by our deep belief in the importance of social responsibility and its role in advancing sustainable development. Supporting and empowering orphans remains a key priority for us, and through our various initiatives, we strive to create a lasting and positive impact on society. As we mark 60 years since the establishment of Al Ansari Exchange, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting national initiatives that deliver meaningful humanitarian impact.”
In March, Al Ansari Holding also announced a contribution of AED 10 million to the “Edge of Life” campaign, which aims to save five million children from hunger.
The Group continues to play an active role in humanitarian efforts, having supported numerous initiatives, including campaigns by the Emirates Red Crescent, as well as educational, developmental, and healthcare programs. It has also contributed to zakat and charitable initiatives that have benefited thousands of families both within the UAE and internationally.
